Surprisingly, The Dow Increased More Under Trump Than Any President Since 1933

The following analysis looked at the relationship between presidential inauguration and the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA).  Using historic DJIA data, this analysis calculated the DJIA change through the first month of presidency.  We found that the DJIA increased 4.02% over President Trump's first month in office.  The Trump increase was the largest increase since the DJIA saw a 7.84% increase after FDR was inaugurated.
